Summerstorm Entertainment was founded in 2009 and centered around Marco Kreuzpaintner, the director and screenwriter of Summer Storm, Krabat and Trade. In 2010, Summerstorm co-produced Goethe directed by Philipp Stölzl. That year, Film House Germany became a shareholder of the company.
Marco Kreuzpaintner’s mentor, Roland Emmerich, supports the company and will act on selective projects as executive producer.
Summerstorm offers a wealth of experience in production and financing. The company is capable to package it’s own titles as well as projects in partnership with US and other European production companies.
Summerstorm is able to develop English and German language projects and looks at producing and co-producing pictures that entertain and strike a cord with local and international audiences.
